Yamato Nadashiko Shichi Henge

Yamato Nadashiko Shichi Henge also known as The Wallflower or Perfect Girl Evolution.

Most likely the story revolves about a girl named Sunako who was entrusted by her Aunt to the four dazzling creatures (Kyouhei, Yuki, Ranmaru and Takenaga) to be turned into a lady.

(plot from Wikipedia)

The Wallflower is about a girl who was called "ugly" by a boy, the first and only person to whom she confessed her love. This incident sparks a life change, and as a result Sunako shuns all forms of beauty, both in herself as well as in life. Concerned by her change for the worst, Sunako's aunt, the owner of a beautiful mansion where four very handsome students live, offers the guys free rent in her mansion if they can turn Sunako into a "perfect lady" (referred to in Japan as the titular Yamato Nadeshiko).

While the four of them manage to make Sunako physically beautiful enough to become a lady, the problem lies with her attitude and interests (which Sunako has no intention of changing). Up until the most recent release in the story, they've managed to convince Sunako's aunt that her niece is indeed a lady befitting the mansion in which they live (and prevent the rent from skyrocketing to triple the required amount). However, in reality, Sunako has not changed considerably.

Characters:

Sunako Nakahara

The female lead, Sunako locked herself away and chose to live without any desire for light or beauty after a traumatic experience where she was rejected by her first love. Sunako is a lover of solitude, gory movies, anatomical dolls and objects that reflect the ugly side of life as she puts it; her interests resulted in her distorted view of reality and isolation contributed to her low self-esteem. Unexpectedly, she is intelligent, talented in numerous areas, particularly cooking, and is an exceptionally strong fighter. However, by living with Kyouhei and the other boys, she gradually interacts with other people and slowly overcomes her anti-social tendencies. She has especially mixed feelings about Kyouhei and as the storyline progresses, their relationship becomes more solid and intimate.

Kyohei Takano

The most popular and physically attractive of the foursome, Kyouhei is initially seen as selfish, blunt, and demanding and has no inclination to be gentle towards Sunako unless it will reduce rent. Kyouhei's unnaturally good looks resulted in a history of unfortunate experiences: he is unable to hold a job because he prone to being sexually harassed and he left his hometown because his family was unable to take the strain of his fans constantly harassing and mobbing them. Because of these experiences, he is able to empathesize with Sunako best; he develops a solid relationship with her and protects her when she needs him to. However, his own unresolved feelings for her mean that he is unafraid to take advantage of her weaknesses or provoke her rage. Kyouhei enjoys fighting and loves to eat, especially Sunako's cooking.

Takenaga Oda

A serious and intelligent young man from a wealthy family of ikebana masters. Takenaga is usually the voice of reason amongst the foursome and the least fazed by Sunako's morbid habits. However, he is emotionally reserved as a result of extreme pressure as his family's heir; as a result, Takenaga is too shy to express his feelings towards his girlfriend, Noi. As the manga progresses, he becomes more social and open about himself.
Yukinojo "Yuki" Toyama

A gentle and kind boy who is devoted to his friends, Yuki comes from an ordinary family to board with the Landlady, who is a friend of his mother's. He is the most innocent and easily frightened of the four, especially in regards to entering Sunako's room. Because of his effeminate features, he is often reluctantly forced to dress up like a girl, which has led to self-esteem issues.
Ranmaru Morii

Ranmaru is a notorious playboy who is the only son of a wealthy family of hotel chain owners. He is extroverted, confident, and a self-professed expert of love and women, having dated many older married women. However, he has a good heart and cares for his friends and is the most active in the goal towards making Sunako into an ideal lady. He is later engaged to reserved and sheltered girl, whose unusual attitude towards him creates mixed feelings and makes him unsure of his playboy ways.

you got to read the manga as well as the anime because it is so cool.. You would really appreciate it, seriously appreciate it..

Agent Leroy Gibbs aka Mark Harmon

More info about Agent Gibbs.. (OMG i really adore this man!)

A former United States Marine Corps sniper, Gibbs is portrayed as a consummate organizer, disciplined and demanding of his A-team, often standing between them and pressure from other authorities.

Gibbs's age has never been revealed, but it was shown in the sixth season episode "Heartland" that he was born in rural Stillwater, Pennsylvania. His father, Jackson Gibbs, owns a store in the same town. It has been mentioned in "Frame Up" that Gibb's father was possibly in the U.S. Air Force. He is apparently named after his father's friend, Leroy Jethro, who was his business partner in the store after having worked together in the coal mines. The younger Gibbs left Stillwater in 1976 at the approximate age of 18 - 20 and, according to his own statements, did not return for over thirty years.

Gibbs has been married four times and divorced three times (Shalom). He met his first wife, Shannon, while waiting at the Stillwater Train Platform in 1976, at which point she told him about her rules for life - these would inspire a similar set of rules which he would follow later in life. Shannon, along with their daughter Kelly, were murdered while he was deployed for Operation Desert Storm. Each wife was a redhead, and he once had a romantic relationship with the now deceased director of NCIS, Jenny Shepard, also a redhead. In the first, second and once during the 3rd season, he was seen in the company of a mysterious (and never-identified) redheaded woman.

Before the time in which NCIS is set, Gibbs travelled extensively on operations, particularly in Eastern Europe, demonstrated by many flash-backs, many including Director Jenny Shepard.

When a team member succeeds in a particularly clever way, they tend to begin explaining to Gibbs in highly technical language (demonstrating their elite knowledge and capabilities) so that he replies, "Give it to me in English", to get quickly to the point as well as making it accessible to the TV audience.[citation needed]

In the third season episode "Model Behavior", Gibbs is awarded the NCIS Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), but does not attend the award ceremony, at which Tony accepts the medal on his behalf. When Gibbs shows no interest in it, Tony locks it in a box containing several similar presentation cases, all of which, as mentioned in the same episode by Tony, contain similar kinds of medals awarded to Gibbs. One of these medals is revealed to have been a Silver Star, which Gibbs bestows on Corporal Damon Worth in "Corporal Punishment".

He is a dedicated coffee drinker, a fact played out with his team setting up someone to innocently drink or spill his coffee, incurring Gibbs' ire. In the episode "Forced Entry", when McGee drinks Gibbs' coffee unawares, an on-base security officer explains that rule #23 is "Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live." At episode end, Gibbs endows McGee with his coffee as a thank you.

One of the character's "trademarks", Gibbs will often slap the members of his team on the back of the head (a.k.a "dope slap") when displeased with their performance. When Gibbs "retired", and Tony gained his position as leader for a short while, Tony often slapped the team members in a similar fashion. As revealed by Ducky in an episode in Season 3, in his younger years Gibbs was like Tony, personality wise, before his first wife Shannon and daughter Kelly, were murdered.

He has a set of about 50 rules which he lives by and teaches to his team.

Rule #9 Never go anywhere without a knife

Rule #12 Never date a co-worker

Rule #23 Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live

Peach Girl

I really love this manga/anime.. Anyways let me give you the PLOT...

Peach Girl is a high school drama centered on Momo Adachi. A former member of the swim team, Momo tans easily and her hair is bleached out; unfortunately, she is stereotyped by her ignorant classmates, and is forced to endure rumors about being a playgirl. Her only friend is Sae, who is actually responsible for spreading the nasty gossip due to her jealousy to Momo. Momo is in love with Toji, a taciturn baseball player, but the scheming Sae also has her eye on the boy. Momo's life is further complicated with the introduction of Kairi Okayasu, a wise-cracking playboy who is determined to make her his because she had saved him from drowning the summer before high school started.

Things became even more complicated when Sae, in an attempt to make Momo miserable, spread rumors about Momo and Kairi making out. Some of the rumors were true and when Touji was hospitalized Sae forced Toji to break up with Momo. They soon got back together and later Sae tried to make their relationship complicated again by threatening to discredit Momo with her newly acquired access to the mass media. Though Toji was defiant to begin with, he reluctantly broke up with Momo in order to protect her. Momo was heartbroken at first, especially because she did not know that it was part of Sae's schemes. However, she eventually began dating Kairi, whom she had previously considered annoying, and soon began to fall in love with him.

When Toji reveals to Momo what had happened and why he breaks up with her, Momo is left to choose between Toji and Kairi. More problems arose and a love triangle was formed.

In "Sae's Story", Sae is left back a year, for she always was skipping classes. She is too stubborn so she goes to Momo's and Kairi's university every day. Toji goes to a good university by himself. Sae then meets one of her childhood sweethearts, Kanji (or Monkey Boy), who left for Malaysia when they were young, and promised to marry Sae when he was back. In love with Sae, Kanji follows her around, trying to win Sae back over. He also takes care of Sae's dog, Sora, when her parents would no longer let her keep it. The dog walks with a little limp, as one day when the dog tried to follow her, Sae threw a rock at its paw and injured her. Sae starts modeling and pretends she goes to college with Momo, when she is really still in high school. She meets Honda and works for CC as a model. She meets a guy named Takuma, but later he turned Sae down. Later, she meets another guy named Shinji but realizes he never really liked her. All these ups and downs makes Sae realize that Momo, Kairi, and Kanji are the only people that actually care for her.

The story is more on romance and dramatic at the same time.. I love watching the series of course but reading the mangga is different..

I like the characters Momoku and Kairi... Ofcourse... Okayasu Kairi is hot and I think Tojigamori is hot too.. Kairi has this sense of humor that I can not see in Toji...

XXX HOLIC

Kimihiro Watanuki is a high school student plagued by yōkai, spirits with a strong attraction to him. The spirits are invisible to others and encounters with them are extremely troublesome. When he stumbles into a shop that grants wishes, however, events in his life promise to become more unusual.

The shop is owned by Yūko Ichihara, a mysterious and beautiful (sometimes playful) witch of many names and esoteric renown. For a price, she offers to grant Watanuki's wish to be rid of the spirits. The price, according to Yūko, must be of equal value and so, as payment, he temporarily becomes Yūko's part-time employee.

Watanuki's job consists of small errands dealing with the supernatural and household chores. His love interest, Himawari Kunogi, and "rival," Shizuka Dōmeki, occasionally join him in his work as per Yūko's request. The three become increasingly close despite Watanuki's annoyances with Dōmeki.
I really love this anime, it is not that gory but you would love the stories and situations the show tackles. Like the episode about the 100 GHOST TALES, it is really creepy and by the way the shadows were drawn looking so menacingly. Other than that, you would get laughs from the characters of Watanuki and mokona..

Death Note

A bit twisted and wicked but, damn the character light is freaking hot.. lol

Death Noteis a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The series centers on Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, the titular "Death Note", dropped on Earth by a shinigami (death god) named Ryuk. The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose face they have seen, by writing the victim's name in the notebook. The story follows Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook, and the complex conflict between him and his opponents.

Plot

Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, but after experimenting with it, Light realizes that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the New World" by passing his keen judgment on those he deems to be evil or who get in his way. A shinigami's Death Note is a notebook that can kill any human whose name is written in it. All Death Notes are governed by the same set of rules determining the extents and limitations of the Notes' powers.

Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (キラ, "Kira"? derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

After several murders, Misa Amane, a possessor of another Death Note, meets Light and tries to help him to do his work but she is captured by L. Light makes a plan involving renouncing ownership of both Death Notes, and all of his memories of them, and turns himself in to L for surveillance. After losing his memories, Light and L start to investigate a criminal group named "Yotsuba" together who had Misa's Death Note. When arresting them, Light recovers all his memories while touching the Death Note, remembers his plan, and forces the former owner of Misa's Death Note, the shinigami Rem, to kill L.

After L's death, two young men, who are also individually exceedingly capable, battle for the role of successor. These two future successors are known as "M" and "N"; M represents Mello, and N represents Near. Mello is intelligent, but hasty and stubborn. Mello makes appearances occasionally in several episodes, and does not seem like a very important element, but his appearances will prove to be a pivotal element. Near, the successor of L meanwhile creates the "SPK" (Special Provision for Kira). The SPK is a small team designed to arrest Kira, otherwise known as Yagami Light.

Meanwhile, word of Kira has gone worldwide. After L's death, Light is granted the position of the "new L". Light believes that he has accomplished his initial goal of eliminating L, but he has yet another. Light is challenged by Near in a battle of minds. Near automatically suspects Light to be Kira and plans different ways of attack. In the end, Light is caught by the SPK and killed by Ryuk.

School Rumble

School Rumble (PSP)Image via WikipediaThis is one funny anime..
I appreciate the anime when the language is in nihongo.

The plot of School Rumble covers the daily lives of students of the fictional Yagami High School and their surroundings. The series is of the romance comedy genre, with scenes in the story being exaggerated for comedic purposes.

The female protagonist is Tenma Tsukamoto, a second year high school girl with no special qualities who has a crush on Oji Karasuma, a stonefaced eccentric. The generally clueless Tenma finds it difficult to confess her love to him. Complications arise with Kenji Harima, the male protagonist and a delinquent, who has developed a crush on Tenma. He too has difficulty confessing to her. The attempts of the two characters to confess their respective loves are running gags seen throughout the series.

As the series progresses, the story changes focus to the relationship that develops between Harima and Tenma's close friend, Eri Sawachika, which results from various embarrassing situations involving Eri and Harima. Harima also develops a relationship with Tenma's younger sister Yakumo Tsukamoto, who begins to assist Harima with the development and drawing of his manga.

As the story progresses, Harima gets himself into romantic situations with Tenma, the relationship between Tenma and Karasuma progresses, and Eri's and Yakumo's bonds with Harima grow stronger.

(from wikipedia)

School Rumble, if you like romantic comedy, this is a must to watch. My favorite character here is Harima, he is soooo cute! lol He has these kept up feelings for Tenma that he can't express it to her directly. When, given a chance, crazy things started happening..

watch this as it is a must!

Darth Talon

"I am your life. I am your death. You have passed your final test without flinching. I name you Darth Talon and you will now be touched by all one of my Hands — My own personal asisstant. Henceforth, you will take orders only from me — Report only to me. Stay only with me- Sleep only with me."
―Darth Krayt speaking to Darth Talon.

Darth Talon was a female Lethan Twi'lek Sith Lord in Darth Krayt's One Sith as of 137 ABY. Talon was styled with black Sith tattoos covering her body, head, and lekku; each having been earned in ritual combat and inscribed by Krayt himself. As a Sith apprentice, Talon was trained by a fellow Twi'lek Sith Lord named Darth Ruyn, whom she later killed on Krayt's command with a swift decapitating strike of her lightsaber, shortly before ascending to the rank of full fledged Sith Lord herself.

Recognizing her unshakable loyalty, Krayt had Talon become one of his two Hands, extensions of his own will. In this capacity, Talon found herself working alongside the other of Krayt's Hands, Darth Nihl. Talon was often tasked with her master's most important missions; including the capture of Cade Skywalker. Indeed, for a short time, Talon acted as the Sith Master of Skywalker, however, he soon renounced the Sith, injuring Talon in the process; though she survived, her position in the eyes of her master was severely undermined.

Talon was a third-generation Sith, raised and trained on the ancient Sith burial world of Korriban to serve as the second of Darth Krayt's two Hands, Darth Nihl being the other. Thus, she had no idea of what life was like outside the order and had no purpose to her existence other than to serve as the executor of Krayt's will. A test of her loyalty came early when Krayt ordered Talon to kill her instructor, Darth Ruyn, who had just presented her to Krayt for final evaluation. Talon responded without hesitation.

Personality and traits

"We all live or die as Krayt wills, Stryfe. At his word, I would cut out my own heart. Or yours."
―Darth Talon, to Darth Stryfe

Darth Talon was cold and dispassionate, and followed the commands of Darth Krayt without question or hesitation, as shown when she decapitated her Sith Mentor Darth Ruyn at his request. She was unmerciful like most Sith, keeping Elke Vetter alive only for the amount of time needed to extract the location of Marasiah Fel from the grievously wounded Imperial Knight.

Powers and abilities

Talon's ability in combat was considerable. She was able to kill her teacher, Darth Ruyn, in a single leaping strike, without having to engage him in a protracted lightsaber duel (although this can be argued, due to the fact that Darth Ruyn had only just presented Darth Talon to Darth Krayt for final evaluation, and [therefore] never saw Darth Krayt's upcoming betrayal to [Darth Ruyn] and order to [Darth Talon] to kill him coming). In addition, she literally and metaphorically "disarmed" Elke Vetter without taking any physical damage. Her skill at fighting was further exemplified by the fact that she was anointed as one of Darth Krayt's two Hands, as aforementioned. On Vendaxa, Darth Talon was able to outfight two Jedi Shado Vao and Wolf Sazen simultaneously, showing her aptitude at lightsaber combat. Only a last-second move from the nearby Princess Fel prevented Talon from slaying Master Sazen.

She was known to use acrobatic flips and leaps in lightsaber combat. Her talents at fighting, as well as her rank of Hand, put her at a status greater than the majority of the Sith.

Talon was also skilled in Force techniques such as Force lightning, by which she executed Elke Vetter. Darth Talon was also able to force the Imperial Knight to verbally reveal the location of the Princess by a Force technique where she summoned a cyan circle of light before her adversary. Darth Talon was also able to use Force push to shove Shado Vao to the ground with such force that he was unable to recover for some time. She was also able to shadow the Princess as she was running away from the burning Imperial Mission that was her former hiding spot, indicating her skill at concealment. Whether it was physical, Force-affiliated, or a mixture of both was unknown. If Force-affiliated, this might be indicative of the rare talent of Force concealment.

Talon also appeared to be a skilled pilot, knowing how to operate starships and a speeder bike. She also had Sith tattoos that were common in the new Sith Order.

Lightsaber

Darth Talon, like almost all Sith, was armed with a single crimson-bladed lightsaber. It was elongated and notched with crisscrossing grooves. The hilt was constructed of a material that physically did not appear to be metal, and instead resembled a sort of rock or plant.

Darth Maladi (Reposted)

My all time Favorite character.. Darth Maladi

Darth Maladi was a Devaronian female who served as a Sith Lady in Darth Krayt's Sith Order during Krayt's reign as Emperor. She was the head of Sith Intelligence and Assassination, adept in the ways of inquisition and torture, and a specialist in the art of mental manipulation.

A skilled scientist, she tirelessly experimented with ways to pervert science to serve the Sith cause, and also manufactured and dealt the narcotic ixetal cilona. She was responsible for the sabotage of the government-sponsored project to terraform Ossus. Maladi, along with High Moff Morlish Veed, the leader of the Council of Moffs, and his partner, Nyna Calixte, the Director of Imperial Intelligence, started the Sith-Imperial War in 127 ABY, which saw the near-destruction of the Galactic Alliance, the leading government at the time, and the New Jedi Order—the major opponents of the Sith.

In 137 ABY, Krayt ordered Maladi to find and dispose of the former Emperor, Roan Fel, and to capture Cade Skywalker, the last remaining member of the Skywalker family. Though she failed with the former task, the Sith were able to capture Skywalker, whom Maladi tortured to find his limits. However, Skywalker escaped, and Maladi was forced to work with Rav, a Feeorin pirate for whom Skywalker had once worked, to find the fugitive.

Personality & Traits

"As you will, my Lord."
"Yes, Maladi. Always as I will."

―Darth Maladi, acknowledging her loyalty to Darth Krayt

Darth Maladi, like most Sith in Darth Krayt's New Sith Order, knew complete obedience to her Master. She always completed his orders as asked, though she sometimes wondered about some of Krayt's decisions, such as why he wanted Cade Skywalker alive.Maladi often tortured individuals, and took pride when she was able to successfully extract information out of them, evidenced when she garnered information about Skywalker from Hosk Trey'lis. Maladi was often in control of sentients, and barked commands at Nyna Calixte and Trey'lis, much like her Master Krayt did himself.

As the head of Sith Intelligence and Assassination, Maladi was adept at manipulating individuals without using the Force; along with Krayt, she instigated the Sith-Imperial War by manipulating Morlish Veed into an alliance with the Sith, convincing him that the Sith were going to seat him as Emperor, though Maladi instead put him in a position of servitude to Krayt.

Maladi loved to scheme the demise of others. She molded the perfect assassin in Darth Kruhl, who was ready to die in order to kill Roan Fel. When that failed, Maladi revealed that Kruhl had been part of a larger scheme to kill Roan Fel, and that she was planning to mold another to finally place the final killing stroke. However, Maladi's scheming sometimes blinded her, and she was so enamored with her plans that she almost lost sight of her Krayt-given goal—to eliminate Roan Fel. On one occasion, Krayt had to remind her to keep sight of her goal to kill Fel before she became too consumed with plotting. She was ruthless to this end, and did not suffer the failures of her subordinates gladly, evidenced when she executed Vikar Dorn for his blunder during the assassination attempt on Emperor Fel's life.

Maladi was also confident in the stability of the New Sith Order, believing that they were more successful than the older Sith, though Nyna Calixte believed that the present day Sith were like the Sith of old, and that that reminiscent quality was going to be the demise of Maladi and the rest of the Sith.

Maladi also had a different skin color than most Devaronian females, as well as little fur on her body, while most females of her species had a good deal of fur that was naturally white. Maladi's skin color and fur quantities, however, was the result of genetics.

Jigoku Shoujo (Reposted)

Jigoku Shōjo Futakomori Original Soundtrack al...Image via WikipediaMost of my close friends know how much I adore japanese anime. The animes that I watch range to different types of variety to comedies, romantic comedies, about cars, death, action, adventure etc.

One of my favorites is Jigoko Shoujo, which means Girl from Hell.

Here's an over view:

On the internet is a special website which can only be access at midnight. The rumor is that if you enter the name of someone you seek revenge on the Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) will come and take them to hell. Her name is Enma Ai a young girl with blood red eyes and a cold unwavering stare.

While the anime has a main plot running through it each episode tends to stand alone focusing on some person seeking revenge on another. When someone makes a request through the website Enma comes to them and explains how the contract works. The rule is that she will take the person to hell immediately however as compensation the person requesting revenge will also go to hell, all be it when they die.

The requester is give a doll with a red string and told to except the contract all they have to do is pull the swing. Normally people spend quite a while wrestling with there conscious before finally deciding to pull the string.

After the contract has been made Enma and here assistants ride to the person riding in a flying coach with a burning wheel (actually one of the assistants transformed). There then follows a kind of stalking where they attempt to show the person the error of there ways through an elaborate series of often scary illusions. Finally the Jigoku Shoujo, dressed in a black floral kimono, speaks a few chilling lines and send the person to hell seemingly activating the flowers on her kimono.

One of the main plots threading through the episodes features a father and daughter, Hajime and Tsugumi Shibata. Hajime is a freelance journalist by profession whose wife, and mother of Tsugumi, died in a car crash. Hajime takes an interest in Jigoku Shoujo which slowly grows into an obsession, objecting morally to her actions of sending people to hell in revenge for others.

They are able tell where and when a revenge will take place due to a strange link between Tsugumi and Enma, allowing her to see what Enma sees. This happens randomly, normally when someone is requesting revenge, with Tsugumi going into a trace repeating whatever words Enma is saying. Tsugumi is not so sure that the actions of Enma are wrong, not sharing Hajime's total condemnation of her actions.
It's like watching revenge served in a new certain level. I can't say that it is grotesque but I love the way how the story goes.

It's making a deal. You get what you want and in return, you have to pay something of equal value.

Try to watch it, it's fun for tweens but not good for the younger ones.
